During the classic layout rig hunt, waterfowlers will be picked up at a designated  landing and transported  via boat to hunting area. After deploying both layout boats and decoys, two hunters will begin hunt. Other hunters in party will switch according to agreed upon times or limits. Communication will be handled via handheld radios and the "tender boat" which will monitor from a safe, up current distance.  Hunt will continue until limit is reached or 1 p.m. Hunters will then be transported back to landing of origination.
